Hello, my name is Masaki.
I am a data engineer with experience building data pipelines using Apache Airflow, Python, and AWS. My contract ended at the end of July 2024, and I am now actively seeking new opportunities in data engineering roles where I can leverage my skills.
I was previously a software developer for a medical device start-up, writing code mostly in C# (WPF, XAML) and MySQL until July 2020. In May 2022, I graduated with a degree in computer systems after completing an applied machine learning project on COVID-19 transmission that required Python, Apache Airflow, and Elasticsearch.
To further deepen my knowledge of data engineering and machine learning, I am pursuing a part-time online Master of Science in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
